Scenes from a hurricane

Well we survived the hurricane and we are all doing fine and the house survived too. The kids are driving me crazy because they are bored, well the cable just came back on. They will return to school on Monday and I will be happy to have things return to normal, I pray that the others stay away from here, we need some cold fronts to come our way.

You get a generator.....

Lots of gas.....

You get lots and lots of extension cords...(and make sure you don't trip on them, of course you know that is from experience!!)

And for cooking we have this.........

This is where you empty your freezer and eat some of the things that are thawing out.....

Well, the next one that we have to watch out for is IKE....Ike take a hike, I want school back, I want to go back to the Gym...I'm ready for normal!!!!
