Tasty Tuseday.......

I Know, I'm a little late but here goes.

This was so easy to make and it was rather yummy...at least I liked it and so did most of the family. The 2 little ones only like hamburgers, hot dogs and peanut butter and jelly, so they don't really count.

TACO SOUP
1lb. lean ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 onion chopped
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 (28 oz)can crushed tomatoes, undrained then fill the can with water twice for the soup
2 cans corn
Garnish with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.

In large sauce pan brown ground meat until cooked. Drain. Add onions and taco seasoning and mix cook 1 minute.

Stir in tomatoes, corn and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

place in bowl top with cheese and sour cream.

It was quite yummy. Try it, it'll warm ya up on those cold days...not that we know much about that down here in the south!

The Kiss.....Yet again.....

Yep, I've discovered more...
While after Christmas shopping at Wal-mart, I discovered these

These actually smell better than they taste....now don't get me wrong they don't taste bad. They just smell like a real cheesecake, but taste like something else....

Now these.....I really like 'em
They smell really good.... and well they are tasty too, I'm just not sure they taste like hot cocoa...you see I'm not much of a drinker....Hot Cocoa that is!

Should be back tomorrow with an easy peasy recipe!

Grits.....

Don't laugh...I promised my little boy that I would do this post for him....

Down here in the south we have grits...they are yummy. All 3 of my kiddos had an obsession with them at some point in there life...usually from about the age of 2 till...well now. Nate eats them as much as possible!! I know they are not much to look at, but it is the breakfast of choice around these parts......

We use instant, butter flavored.... just add a little butter, water, salt and this stuff.....

pop them into the microwave for a minute and bingo they are ready to eat....

Can you guess what we are having for breakfast tomorrow morning???
