The Kiss.....

Ok as if you couldn't tell by the size of our butts, we have become fast fans of the little candy know as the kiss!! It started in early October with our first taste of sin known as the Candy Corn Flavored Kiss. You all remember this....

Well as it would be this "little" company called Hershey's just couldn't let it go...they had to just keep adding and adding more and more flavors. Well I will admit that I am a relatively strong person and usually do handle stress and problems pretty well, heck look at what I have been through so far and I keep my head up and keep chugging righ a long. But when it comes to this little ole Kiss, I must say I melt under pressure..no pun intended.
They have gone and done it again.....

And again.....

And Again.....

And again...

And again....

These are Cherry Cordial flavored and they are so good.
AND YET AGAIN.....

Now for the ones I have not tried but will do my dangdest to find them just to try....

This one is called Dulce De Leche...not sure what that is, but I'm sure it's gotta be good.

These are Limited Edition Coconut Cream..
I'll let you know when I find them, I even heard that there is a New York Cheese Cake flavored one!!!
My hips will hate me for all this one day........

Sadly though, we only have one Target in the area and there apparently have been numerous others who have discovered the Candy Corn flavored Kisses too. Nathan and Amelia, the well is dry no more kisses till next year.

Ok a few more pictures...Nathan is in love with this time of year, I am sure that he gets it from me. It is my favorite time of year always has been since I was wee little, maybe it had something to do with my approaching birthday. That was a big deal when you were younger, now it's just another day of the week. I love the cool crisp mornings, being able to turn the A/C off and open up the windows. I love the season scented candles...pumpkin and cinnamon spices...MMMMMmmmm! So anyway here are a few pictures of Nathan at a local church "pumpkin patch"....

Ok on to Marshall, here is a picture below of his favorite pass time...I call it multi-tasking

Below is a story that he wrote for his English class they had to write a story with a moral so below is his story. He really is a pretty good writer, I hope that he keeps it up. That was one of my biggest regrets in life. When I was in college, I had a professor that keep pushing me into writing and said I had talent and signed me up for honnors English writting class, but I never pursued it any further, I mean come on what kind of career could a writer have, or so was the thought that went through my mind. I really wish I would have stayed in college and pursued it, of course I don't regret what I dropped out for.....I'll give you a hint it begins with a M (marrige and motherhood, wouldn't trade being a full time mom for anything!)

Look Before You Leap

There once was a frog named Bobby. He had a rat friend named Maximilian, a.k.a. Max. One day they were walking and hopping to the neighborhood park. So over the hill and through the woods they went. As they were approaching a busy street corner Bobby spotted something shiny on the other side of the street.
“Stop Bobby” yelled Max. “Let me tell you something before you cross the street.”
“Ok” say Bobby.

Max began “A long time ago, my great-great grandpa was walking down the road. He was not paying attention to what he was doing. He crossed the street with out looking both ways. A big Mack truck came by and squashed my great-great grandpa like a pancake.”

Bobby looked at Max and said “Awe, Max, I’ll be alright!”
So off he leaped to see what that shiny thing was. As he leaped he forgot to take Max’s advice and he did not look either way when he crossed the street. Out of no where a black Dodge Viper approached at approximately 85 miles per hour and squashed him flat like a pancake just like Max’s great-great grandpa.

Max sighed and said “Poor Bobby.”
Then he took off and went to tell Bobby’s parents what had happened, and Max thought, if only he would have looked both ways before he leaped.

How cool was that, moral of the story look before you leap.
Well this month is the month for lots of Doctor appointments, Marshall will have an appointment with a new allergist tomorrow, one closer to home. We also have to have his cholestrol checked. Amelia will be going to see the Endocrinologist and getting a vein puncture stick for more counts, please pray that everyones blood counts will be good platelets up and cholestrol down!!! Nathan may take a trip abck to the pediatrician this week too he still has the infected lymph node, well it is still swollen. I hope to update more this week, maybe with the kids in their costumes have a great halloween.....

Ask Him.......
to forgive you when your humanness overrides your faith.

Boys and Their Toys

Boys And Their Toys.....

No matter the age, a boy and their toys always remain the same. It's true what they say about the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys....

Here is my little boy playing on a nice morning with his toys......

Here are some more of my little boys toys....

Here are some of my "biggest" boys toys.....

Not sure what this is but he "had" to have it......
Here is the bushhog for the yard of weeds that is now the yard of dirt...the lawn mower back there and some other kind of blade for the tractor that he just had to have....
Here is the "toy" that he makes his living with...........

And here are a few pictures of my boys on the toy that Papaw B rented to help clean the yard.

Not sure who is having more fun...???

Check out the tounge....

You be the judge....is there really any difference between men and boys?

How Bad Have You Got It?

How Bad Have you got it?

An unnatural obsession with this....

Has turned into this....

This is not the best stuff, but it's OK..especially if you like creamsoda.

But this stuff.....

This is my second favorite.

And this one, this is a favorite of the house!!

This is, I am afraid, the most to die for...from the smell all the way to the melt in your mouth flavor.

And who started this obsession?........

Just Great!!!

First day, and of course only day of school and they all come home with a stomach virus! Yep they went to school on Friday, two out of the 3 any way and yesterday afternoon it started and lasted all night long. I hope it is over today and they are all able to return to school on Monday.
Well I'm off to check on the troops......

Well the sun finally started shinning around here and then the heat pour it on!! Yuck, I am not a fan of this time of year...even though all of our kids were born this time of year....birthday parties in July are just unbearable unless celebrated inside. The grass finally got cut too. We took the kids on one last summer fling before school started. We packed up, loaded up and headed to Orange Beach, Al. No beach for this family, as I really hate getting sand in my nether regions or any body part for that fact!!! We found a great place with a 2 bedroom condo (My parents went with us) we had a balcony overlooking the court yard that was filled with a lazy river, swimming pools and a water slide. It was great, we all had so much fun and got a little roasted and toasted. We had 4 full days and one half day of water, I don't know if I'll ever get the wrinkles out..., of my skin that is. I still, as of yet have not unpacked the luggage. We had to be home on the 9th so the kids could start school on the 10th, yep isn't that the stupidest thing to start on a Friday...one day. What's up with that?

So Much For Sunshine and Daylights

Well as you can guess there hasn't been much sunshine around here. Yep the Dungeons have been quite dark these last few weeks.....our yard is a big ole frog pond and the grass is nearing knee deep!! The kids have been cooped up in the house for going on nearly two weeks!!

Oh please, please let the SUNSHINE come through soon. I beg you and the poor house begs you. I feel it take a sigh of relief at night when every one is in bed sleeping. It is the only time that there is peace and quiet in the house. It's like the kids are on a sugar high and running and bouncing off the walls, litteraly. Well today is another rainy day, I am packing up the kids and taking them out to my mom and dads house, who live in the next town over and on a high hill....so even if it is raining there when it stops the kids can still go out and play...there, there will be no standing puddles of water.

See what I mean below...........
Here are a few more:

Praying for sunny skies and brighter days............

Daylight and sunshine

The Dungeons look much brighter these days. The weather has been nice here and we have been able to let the kiddos out and enjoy sunlight!! They spent most of the weekend out side. Yesterday it was Nathan home with dad and I, and the little bugger almost gave me a heart attack. He has a big problem with not answering when he is called. So dad was out front on the tractor and even though he is 3 and half he KNOWS not to go anywhere near dad while he is on the tractor. I stepped out the back door to turn the grill on and began to look around for him and called and called and even looked in the house....I could not find him anywhere and ran up front to ask dad where he was.... well, in tears by now I ran back into the house and looked in every room and know where I found him.....laying on my bed watching TV. I was in tears didn't know whether to hug him or yell at him. I gave him a hug and told him that he needed to answer me when I called him!!!
Later that day Amelia arrived home with a bag full of marbles and those things are about to make me loose all my marbles.....
We have ceramic tile through out the house except the bed rooms which now have new hard wood floors. But have you ever dropped a few marbles on ceramic...it sounds like fire crackers going off.....
Thank goodness today was a school day!! Two off to school and a little one out side playing again. Yes he has been fore warned!!! Answer when you are called!!!! So far so good he seems to be picking me a bunch of "lovely" flowers.....nothing says loven' like some allergy induced flowers from the yard......
Have a great sunny day....

The Dungeons

The Dungeon.....

A dark prison in a castle.... This is my castle and this is my dungeon. The wardens range in different ages....13, 6, and 3. Yep that's right there are more than one warden in this dungeon. Well that's what life around here feels like sometimes....a dark prison. If it wouldn't be the dungeons it would definitely be the boxing match and I am the referee..

School starts again tomorrow and I am so glad.....Not sure if I am looking forward to the summer time....

I think the kids are all ready to go back to school too, they crave some structure.

They are all out playing in the mud puddles right now and I am enjoying some peace and quiet for a few moments. They weather is nice today in the upper 60's low 70's and there are mud puddles everywhere. Burn up that energy please..... Well gotta run the phone is ringing and the laundry is beconning..............

till next time
