Update on kids and health and stuff

Ok so the last two weeks have been total chaos, we've had lots of doctor appointments..mainly Marshall, actually all of them were for Marshall. We have been having him tested by a neuro-psychologist, we want to see how he is processing his thinking and how much his memory works and all that good stuff. Then we had some appointments with the pediatrician for his ear which is not better she said something about a granuloma. So on Monday we will see the ENT. We also had an appointment with the endocrinologist, whom I loved, he took lots of time out with us and explained everything to us. First he is going to put Marshall on some synthroid, because his TSH levels were high and there are some other test that he is going to run on him in a few weeks. When we go to get blood work done he will have 14 test run on him! But we are so hopeful that he will get to the bottom of all this weight gain. I think I'm going to switch Amelia to him also.

The other thing is we have been going to the allergist, we just started allergy shots, we will be going this week on Monday and Wed, but then we'll start going Tue.& Thursdays for a while then we will go once a week. So we will be busy doing that every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. Thankfully the gas prices went down!!!

This week we are going to get Amelia's counts done. I am hoping that they are holding steady, but here lately she has been looking really pale. I have a feeling that her hemoglobin is going down...of course her energy level hasn't gone anywhere she is still just as hyper as ever!!

Last week, I went with Nathan to the Children's museum. He had a great time. I have to tell you Nate is only 5 years old and in Kindergarten and he already has a girlfriend!!! Oh my gosh..they are so cute together and they always play together and all and....Oh my I'm not sure if I'm ready for this .....they hold hands!!! It has been a very busy week, and I have one more to go before it is the holiday break.

Just some randomness....
First I want to say Thank you for all the birthday wishes, I had a great time on Saturday night and have lots of pictures...not sure if I want to share all of them, but we shall see. I haven't had time to upload the pictures yet, it is only Tuesday and we have been busy and the rest of the week is looking about the same...tomorrow is Nathan's field trip in to New Orleans for the Children's museum then Thursday back again for a doctor's appointment for Marshall. Just wanted to give a quick update and say Thank You!!! I'll see you with some pictures on Friday!!!

Favorite Foto Friday

OK so it isn't my favorite foto...but it will give you a hint to what I will be doing tomorrow night for my big 3-8. I know there is not getting out of wearing that big stupid hat, I hoping so....

This post is about me, I am still doing great with going to the gym regularly, I've lost 12 lbs would love to loose more but I'll take it. I'm also proud of my self when I started the gym, the elliptical machines were out of the question...well, I've been seen doing the silent cheer(Nate does this and it is so cute!) I first started out at 5 minutes and that machine whipped my butt, now......in just about 2 weeks...drum roll please can do a whole hour on it and then get off and do 30 minutes on the treadmill or the bike!!!!

I love it, I use to have a hard time going to sleep. I wouldn't fall asleep some times till 12:30- 1:00 am...now lights are out at our house at 9!! The other night we were in bed for 7:30!!

Any way it's now time for me to lay with Naterbug......

OK the one with lots and lots of pictures......

Well we have had a busy past few weeks, with Halloween and all kinds of other things thrown in there too so hold on to you seats and if you have dial up.....I'm sorry. Lets see what kind of story we can tell with pictures.

Before Halloween got here I was busy with another cake. This time it was for a wedding shower, here are a few of it in stages.....

The shower was on the first but I had to make the cake before that because of Halloween....

The weekend before we went out to my mom and dad's house and Nathan and my dad "Jack-a-lanted" a pumpkin...that is what Nathan calls it and it is so cute.......

See I have a great dad, because I didn't once have to touch the pumpkin, except to load it in to the van to take it home!

Here are the kids dressed up for trick-or-treating....Amelia is of course the Witch, what she wanted to be all a long, Marshall just threw on some clothes and grabbed a mask...Nathan on the other had changed his mind 4 times....first he was going to be a scarecrow...bought the shirt and thankfully hadn't bought the hay and all then he changed his mind to be a knight..... cool we have all the stuff to be a knight no need to buy anything...... few days later he finds his red Power Ranger costume so he decides that is what he wants to be....but on the day of his class party at school he changes it once again...yep a ghost...

And after these pictures were taken he didn't wear it again. He walked around in a shirt that said my sister is a WITCH.......

I don't have any pictures from Amelia's fall festival because it was my mother-in-laws birthday and well, we went to Tea.....

It was fun and I'm taking Amelia to Teddy Bear Tea there next month...I think it will be cute and fun!!!!

I promise, I'm not avoiding this site...something came up this morning that I had/have to take care of...I will be busy with that the rest of the day and well tomorrow school is out and the whole day is pretty much up in smoke, but Wednesday Marshall has his IVIG infusion and they now have internet!!!! Since I will be there for 5 hours....guess what.....I'll be back....................
